In the footsteps of Cezanne

“Painting from nature is not copying the object. It is realizing sensations.” Paul Cezanne. I was fortunate enough to visit Cezanne’s studio in Aix en Provence this summer. His spirit seems to still linger around there. This painting is based on a view of the foot path where he once walked to his favorite spot to paint Saint Victoire.

This painting is signed on the front. I provide a copy of the certification of authenticity with each artwork. The artwork is unframed and comes with an acid-free mat and backing board that fits an 11x14 frame. All materials used are archival grade.
