Fifty Shades of Green

Ireland is renowned for its myriad shades of green and subtle transitions, presenting a unique challenge for watercolor artists. The patchwork of hillside farmland is dotted with sheep grazing here and there. The air is fresh, and the spirit is high. One might even say that Ireland is composed of fifty shades of green.

Each painting is completed on Yupo paper with Daniel Smith professional fine art watercolors. Yupo is a Japanese branch of graphic paper that keeps color saturated. It doesn’t absorb paint like watercolor paper. So you can get beautiful marbling or crystallization when watercolor pigments dry on the surface. Each artwork is finished with protective archival varnish.  The painting is signed on the front and labeled on the back. I provide a copy of the certification of authenticity with each artwork.

My artwork makes the perfect gift for occasions such as Mother's Day, birthday celebrations, or housewarming. They bring a touch of artistic beauty and elegance to the living room, office, bedroom, kitchen, entryway, or anywhere with a wall!
